GC Residential Construction Lebanon OR, Frank General Contractor LLC is working the: tear down of old 100 year old roof, demolition of rotting overhang in back (first picture), demolition of old mudroom built on a wood deck, building a new Sunroom on a cement slab.
The top picture shows back of house, the next picture is the front view. The shorter roof is over the 100 yr old home with the higher roof over an add on garage later remodeled into several rooms.

Needing to tear down the current roof to add on the new full one height roof line finds the home is built with cinder blocks to the roof line - GREAT BONES!

Tearing out the living room 7 ft ceiling finds three layers of remodel having been done.
A vaulted ceiling will be built in the living room. Cinder block walls provide great strength, just in time for a new roof after so many decades!

The back overhang had rotted and the mudroom had been built on the wood deck leaving a mildew stench whenever the doors were closed, and in Tes being a Standard Poodle breeder, needed the new room for the puppies to grow into. Thus the tear down with slab build new "Sunroom". with double doors to open wide for enjoyment in the summer.
The homeowner Tes, helps out wherever she can!
The cement slab form is shaped, cured and framed in preparation to add the roof spread over it.
Beams are placed for the new roof line. Tes designed the roof and sunroom add on. The old deck beams are being kept in place where future shading will be added.
OOFTAH! Tes couldn't help but hold her breath as she watched them place the HUGE beams into place!
Oh the joy in watching it come to life!
